eFoodUSA Tutorial: Order Guides

Step 1: To create or update a Personal Order Guide(s), click the Place Order button in the navigation bar, then change the no to yes in the pull-down menu and click the Continue button.	Click for a demo of step 1.

Step 2: If you do not have a Personal Order Guide, you must begin by selecting Create/Modify Categories, and then click the Continue button. Note: If you want to create or delete an Additional Order Guide, skip to Step 7.	Click for a demo of step 2.

Step 3: You must create a category and assign it a sequence number. (Sequence number determines the order your categories will appear in your order guide.) It is recommended that you leave an interval between sequence numbers, so if you need to revise your order guide, you do not have to reassign sequence numbers to your categories. Category headers you create will also allow for quick search in order entry screen. Click the Submit button when you are finished.	Click for a demo of step 3.

Step 4: Return to the Customer Order Guide menu by clicking the Return to Categories/Items link, select Create/Modify Items within a Category, and click the Continue button.	Click for a demo of step 4.

Step 5: Select a category to modify and click the Submit button.	Click for a demo of step 5.

Step 6: To remove an item, blank out the Item Number. To add a new item, enter an Item Number in a blank field at the bottom of the form. To change an item, overwrite the Item Number with a new Item Number. To search for a product, type in the description, then click the Start Search button. When you are finished, click the Submit button. Don't forget to assign a sequence number! (Sequence number determines the order your items will appear in your order guide.) It is recommended that you leave an interval between sequence numbers, so if you need to revise your order guide, you do not have to reassign sequence numbers to your items. Step 7: To create or delete an Additional Personal Order Guide(s), select Create/Delete Additional Order Guides and then click the Continue button. Note: To modify an existing Additional Personal Order Guide, skip to Step 13.	Click for a demo of step 7.

Step 8: Enter a name for your new Additional Personal Order Guide in the first yellow box and click the Continue button. To delete an Additional Personal Order Guide, select the Additional Order Guide name in the second yellow box and click the Continue button.	Click for a demo of step 8.

Step 10: To continue with creation of this Additional Personal Order Guide, click the Continue link at the bottom of the page. Select Create/Modify Items within a Category and click the Continue button.	Click for a demo of step 10.

Step 11: Select a category to modify and click the Submit button.	Click for a demo of step 11.

Step 12: To remove an item, blank out the Item Number. To add a new item, enter an Item Number in a blank field at the bottom of the form. Step 13: To modify an Additional Personal Order Guide, select Modify Additional Personal Order Guides and click the Continue button.	Click for a demo of step 13.

Step 14: Select the name of the Additional Personal Order Guide to modify and click the Continue button.	Click for a demo of step 14.

Step 15: Select Create/Modify Categories or Create/Modify Items within a Category and click the Continue button. Make changes as necessary (see Step 3 and Step 6 for a reminder of how to create categories and items).	Click for a demo of step 15.
